We view our procurement practices seriously to ensure that our standards for sustainability not only applies to our internal practices but also extends to our suppliers and third parties we partner with, including architects, designers, consultants, service providers and contractors. The importance of supply chain management is underscored by our “Sustainable Procurement Policy” which we have updated in 2020.
Currently, we are implementing the Sustainable Procurement Charter initiated by the Green Council. The Charter is a United Nations-recognised initiative. It seeks to promote sustainable procurement among organisations in Hong Kong. Its ultimate aim is to support the UNSDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production. As part of the implementation, we have set specific goals to elevate our strategy, processes, and organisation concerning sustainable procurement.
